It was a cold winter's morning on the shores of Lake Michigan when I discovered this palette of icy textures at the edge of a deep water opening about a hundred feet offshore. I positioned the drone so the ice and water could mirror each other, creating abstraction from the dynamic and beautiful properties of water.
