Limited edition giclée print. "Sun Catcher" — A winter sunset reveals the secrets of a stream, the patterns in its waters, and the tracks of visitors along its bank. Ancient white pines stretch toward the sun, draping themselves in gold. As the fading light refracts across the snowy scene below, tones are split between plum and buttercream. This was photographed in mid-January, deep in the season of dim dreary days in Northern Michigan, when a little sunshine is treasured most. The landscape catches this gift from the sun, radiating it out in a colorful display of hope.

Captured as a vertical panorama with a drone, this multi-photo composition shows the Cedar River as it courses toward the hills above Bellaire, MI. If you could pan the scene right, you’d see Schuss Mountain.

This archival quality photograph is printed on European cotton fiber paper with a natural white tone and a smooth matte finish. We use a professional pigment-based printer to ensure rich colors and archival quality. White margins may vary based on size.

This print is limited to 200 total numbered editions, divided among different print runs by size, with the largest formats being the most limited. Each piece is embossed with a hand-pressed maker’s mark and includes a certificate of authenticity. The title, location, signature, and edition number are hand-written in colored pencil with a scene-inspired plum hue.

FREE SHIPPING on all prints. 11x17 prints are shipped flat and include backing board, 17x25 and 24x36 prints are shipped rolled as prints only. We use an oversized 5" diameter roll to ship these large pieces so they are well protected and return to shape easily.
